    I am unable to find a simple and inexpensive (read free) way to synch my outlook notes with my 5800 smartphone.  The only suggestion I have seen so far is to purchase a $20.00 product from a company called phatware.com.  I may spring for this product, but I am puzzled as to why this functionality was left unaddressed by Windows Mobile?!?  If a movement exists to request this feature be added via patch or new release please add my name to the list.

    Well, last time I checked I could sync my Notes from Outlook to my Pocket PC.  What happens when you try to sync notes to your 5800?

    Also, please provide more information about your setup:

    What OS is running on your computer?  (XP or Vista)
    What version of Outlook are you using? 
    What OS is running on your smartphone?
    If you are using ActiveSync, what version of it are you using?
