  • Question

  • What is wrong with the developers, They create the prefect platform for syncing Outlook and then spefifically exclude outlook. I dont get it I am going crazy trying to find a way to sync my computer with my cell phone and my office computer and I can find nothing that works. If anybody has any ideas please let me know.

  • Actually, it is the Outlook developers that specifically recommend against any solution that synschronizes the Outlook data file. If you need to keep your Outlook data in sync between multiple devices, you should consider switching to a Hosted Exchange provider as an option - that's what I did and I am thrilled with that solution. I had been using a 3rd party product, PSTSync, which was painful at best. If you are only synchronizing between 2 PCs it works well. More than two and you're going to experience pain.
With a Hosted Exchange solution, I can connect a new PC to the account and have all of my Outlook data available in minutes. I can only keep Outlook in sync and up to date on quite a few PCs and my Windows Mobile device, too.
