CRM 2011 Installation Overview Picture RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I have installed CRM 2011 and missed to take a printscreen of the installation summary during the installation wizard. Is there a way to recreate that screen fully?

    Kind regards and thanks

  • You could go to Add/Remove programs and then run a repair on CRM Server. I think that will show the summary page.

  • Hi,

There is no way to recreate that screen again, if you forget the organization name goto SQL server you can find the crm organization name easily, two DB will be created one is MSCRM_Config and Org name_MSCRM.

Same way goto demployment manager you can find the org name from there you can browse the CRM website.

    CRM URL: http://servername:portnumber/orgname

Ex: http://test:5555/testing  // this is for port 5555

                   or

          htttp://test/testing   // this is for port 80

  • You should have a log file of the installation at C:\users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs

  • Hi CRMBE,

That screen was the installation summary, generated only during installation, if you looking for the same format, same window then the best way to do this is to run the setup again, go through all the steps, until it generates that window, then cancel the setup :)

thanks, i know that version... ;-)

it hasn't to be in the same format, but all these information in one file, screen or whatever... maybe it's hidden somewhere?

  • I'm not aware of a file, maybe this could be useful to you:

    Open PowerShell Copy+paste:

    Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.Crm.PowerShell
    Get-CrmServer
    Get-CrmOrganization

  • I know, but this is another screen with less information. So I think, there is no possibilty.
