  • I understand Microsofts desire to protect its intellectual property from piracy, perhaps once and if piracy  is controlled, we will see less expensive software??

I resent having the Windows Geniune Advantage Tool constantly downloaded to my computers numerous times on the tuesday updates. I resent having the WGA tool being touted as a major security update.

I dont understand why the system needs to be rebooted when one WGA is installed and not when a later one gets installed.

All 3 of my systems are Gateways, 2 came with Media Center 2005, the 3rd came with Home edition, later upgraded to Pro from a retail upgrade edition. All 3 machines pass WGA with flying colors after each silly update and when windows update is accessed or for most MS downloads.

I would prefer to be present when my machines get rebooted thank you very much!
