Starting over with a new backup drive?

  I have a new backup drive and I want to backup all my files to the new drive. What do I have to do? Do I need to delete all the sync_*.dat files on my machine first so that it backs up all the files? Are there any other things I need to do to sart over? Registry? Any help would be greatly appriciated ... Thanks in advance!
