Service Calendar - CRM 3.0 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I seem not to be able to find the Service Calendar whithin a role!

Under the Service, as an Administrator i can see the Service Calendar.

As a sales person, i can access the service tab, but the Service Calendar is not displayed.

So, i went to the security role & tried to turn on (Read) the permission for the Service Calendar, but i can't find it.

There is a TAB service with Article/Article Temnplate/ect....

Would you know where i can turn on/off the permission for the Service Calendar?

    Thanks

    Fred

  • There is no such things in CRM 3.0

you can achieve it using isv.config to put buttons and call url addressable for the creation etc.

  • By default you'll need Read permission (at any level) on the Activity and Service entities. Which privileges are required can be modifed within SiteMap

Note also that, by default, the service calendar is not visible in the Outlook client, only the web client

  • Hi David,

Thanks for your answer, but that's not really what i am looking for.

In any security roles, i take as an example the Service tab.

    It displays the Entities
    • Article
    • Article Template
    • Case
    • ect...
On each of this entities, i can select Create, Read, Write, Delete, ect...

I am simply looking for the Service Calendar Entity where i would select the Create, Read, ect..., but cannot find it!

    Thanks
