If you want to avoid the errors, you can login to the server and perform following steps:
- In Start menu click Control Panel/Administrative Tools.
- Open Terminal Services Configuration.
- Right click RDP-TCP and select Properties.
- On Client Settings tab click the checkbox to disable Windows Printer Mapping amd LPT Port Mapping.
- Click OK and confirm the message.

Olaf, Thank You that does make sense. The three printers I have on my "home network" two I don't usually print to but I have my Lexmark network printer (laser) hooked up to my switch and that one at least doesn't throw me any errors. I narrowed it down to the "shared" printers. Thanx "greetings from California, the only place where you can bake, freeze, and shake in the same week".

Ignore it. It's a normal message when you connect to your server using Remote Desktop. It's generated because your local remote desktop client tries to "forward" your local printers to your server for remote printing, but the server doesn't have drivers for them.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)Monday, October 5, 2009 4:47 AMModerator -
Hi ken thanx, I am new to the server world. But I am really liking whs. I am trying to do it with no errors LOL. I installed some drivers after looking further through the logs. So I guess, that if I RD into whs and my other computers off it will return that error?Monday, October 5, 2009 5:10 AM
