OCS 2007 address book sync issue RRS feed

    I encounter this problem with using ocs client 2007, "Your password is required to sync to the corporate address book, but the sign-in dialog was cancelled or close". I tried to re-sign but the client does not accept the credentials to sync to the address book.


    I have no issue using the web base client which is able to locate the staff.


    Any advice?

    Is the any thing I need to set on the IIS or the OCS 2007 Server.

    Are you able to sign-in to communicator (without having access to the ABS) and use IM etc... ?

    Are you trying to connect internally or externally?


    Note that the web client (CWA) doesn't use the address book files but uses LDAP queries directly to Active Directory.

  • Have you configured any proxy server settings in IE

    Try to test without any proxy server setting

    Add exclusions if the proxy is the problem
