CRM 4.0 installation issue:user not found (HRESULT 0x80070525) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

    I'm trying to install CRM 4.0. I specified service account as running user.
    During the time when install wizerd creates files I got following error:

    “Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.AddServiceAccourtsToSqlAccessGroupAction failed”

    The AD property cannot be found in the cache.

    I hit retry. then I got another error.

    “Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.AddServiceAccourtsToSqlAccessGroupAction failed”

    User not found.(Exception from HRESULT : 0x80070525)

    and installation failed.

    here's the overview:

    CRM1
    CRM2
        -->NLB
    SSRS1
    SSRS
        -->NLB
    SQL1
    SQL2
        -->MSCS
    I'm trying to setup at CRM1. I used nlb server name(http://<virtual server name>/reportserver) as report server URL.

    I've never had this kind of trouble...
    Any idea?

    thanks,

    HT

  • This could be an issue of proxy settings. If your server is behind a proxy then this problem could occur. Add your Server and report server IPs to Exception List of Proxy.

    If this is not the case, try to see your system logs on all servers: MS CRM Server, Reporting Server and DB Server. You may get more information in security logs about your failed logins.

  • ok, I kinda figured out what's bugging me...
    I changed reportserver URL to http://<ssrs machine name>/reportserver, then I got following error before installation:

    HTTP:401 Unauthorized on http://<ssrs machine name>/reportserver

    but why this happens?
