  Hi Ashley,
  What type of installation do you have (OnPremise,IFD,Online). If you have OnPremise remember to put servername without organization.

  i have onpremise
  
  it dosent matter what i try ip address,server name,web address web address with port just get 400 error

  Do you tried type: http://<servername> or https if you're using secure connection ?
  
  You can check also installation log in c:\users\<username>\AppData\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs

  am using http
  
  when i try the using the server address with the port 5555 iget a new message
  
  Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Common.SetupException: Mandatory updates for Microsoft Dynamics CRM could not be applied successfully. Try running the application again.
     at Microsoft.Crm.Config.Client.UI.ServerUrlPage.CheckForUpdates(ClientConfigInfo configInfo)

  seems it was a version problem
  
  reinstalled outlook module and used server name
  
  all is working
