how to know the behaviour of custom entities RRS feed

    There is a custom entity in CRM 4.0 called opportunity snapshot which takes snapshots from opportunities on some particular dates.i want to know the functionality of this entity,the way it behaves.what dates it chooses and how.

    there is an issue reported that on 16th nov there are 400 snapshots created with rev recog date>1jan and <1feb.on 30th nov it comes approx 40 with the same filter criteria.checked the database and found the same.where are the opportunities gone?snapshot taken again on 14th dec,28th dec,31st dec.results not satisfactory.i have checked and verified that there is no workflow associated,no windows service,no plugins,no system jobs.what should i do?please help

    Custom Entities are designer per customer requirement. Since you know opportunity snapshot is a custom entity, you need to look for documentation with the client or their development partner.

    Other ways to identify would be check if there are plugins or workflows registered on opportunity. Any custom service that is creating snapshots at regular intervals..
