    Hi :)

    Im testing an offline folder setup solution, and am using synctoy. - i've created a short-cut for synctoy on the desktop, and renamed it backup files. - what i would like it to do, is automatically run the paring i've setup, so the user doesnt have to press the Run button, but i do want the visuals to show the user that synctoy is running.

    is this possible?

    Did this :-D !!!

    i installed 1.4, and ran the shortcut with

     

    "C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\SyncToy\SyncToy.exe" -r userdata

     

    next problem i have is, i've written a batch file to install synctoy on the client, and make the folder pairings for userdata - but where does synctoy know about userdata paring? - is this a reg setting, or is it stored somewhere?

    Hi,

         If you want to use a command way to complete the sync action, you need to use "SyncToyCmd.exe -R XX"but not "SyncToy.exe -R XX".
