Hi!
I'am thinking of taking a MCPD on framework 4 and visualt studio 2010.
But now i learn that .net framework 4.5 and visual studio 2011 is in preview allready.
Is it worth waiting for the certification exam for 4.5, to get the newst possible certification?
And anyone know when this exam is possible realesed?Best Regards

The place to look for new announcements is the Born To Learn blog:

However, as far as I can tell, nothing has been announced yet as to exams for the new version of the Framework and Visual Studio. If such exams are produced (and this is a big IF, since not all versions are different enough to merit a separate exam, for instance, no certifications were produced for the Framework 3.0), then you would be looking at a considerable wait, most likely until a few months after the new version of Visual Studio comes out.
I suggest that you go for the 4.0 certification and get your MCPD (4 exams required). When (or if) a cert for 4.5 comes out, in all likelihood there will be an upgrade exam, so you will be able to convert your MCPD on version 4 to the new one with a single exam. In the meanwhile, you would already be enjoyying your MCPD on the current version until the new one comes out.

Hi
Being honest, I would say no. Right now with the expected release of .NET 4.5 not fully decided, I can only guess when teh exams will be designed. You can usually expect the exams released about 3 to 6 months after the technology release and the books & courses follow after that. So if you want to wait, you will be waiting a while.
Additionally, it will be a case that you will probably be able to upgrade you MCPD 4 to MCPD 4.5 when the time arises
