wlcrdpsystem.exe 95 97% usage, known issue? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Meshing into my IBM thinkpad, both on vista, (this one sp2 beta, that one sp1), I get wlcrdpsystem running at around 95% and cannot do anything on the system.  Sometimes I will be able to get taskmgr up, but after that I cannot close the process or anything.

    Should I bug it?

  • Sounds like a bug to me :) I can't find any reference of it on Connect or the forum, so I'd collect logs from both machines (although probably especially important to get it from the thinkpad as that's the one with the high load) and send it in to lmprev@microsoft.com or directly on Connect.

From the front page (log collection):

    1.  Click Start.
    2.  Select All Programs and look for the Live Mesh folder.
    3.  Click
    Collect Live Mesh Logs.
    4.  Your logs will be bundled together in a cab file now located on your desktop.

  • Hi Craig,

Yes, please do submit a bug - via Connect if you don't mind.  We have a number of bugs tracking excessive CPU or memory use, so more data will definitely be helpful.

    Thank you,

    Ben.
