Just this week my client has changed to using MS Exchange 2010 for email. I had previously configured the email router to send emails (outgoing) for a number of queues setup in my CRM deployment.
At this stage i should say the email router is installed on the same server as CRM but not on the same server as exchange.
I can no longer send emails using the email router configuration i had used previously.
I only need to setup 2/3 queues to send email from the CRM.
Here are the errors when i click 'Test Access'
Server: www.myserver.com
Outgoing Status: Failure - An error occurred while checking the connection to e-mail server
www.myserver.com. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
Server: exchange.myserver.com
Outgoing Status: Failure - An error occurred while checking the connection to e-mail server exchange.myserver.com. No such host is known
I have raised a ticket with my client network admin as I am not sure if it is something on the MS Exchange server they need to set. I remember reading somewhere that they might have to allow relaying from CRM server or something.
Can anyone please help me with the settings/configuration i need to use to setup a queue to send email from CRM when using MS Exchange?
