Email Router Configured for gmail in crm 2011 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have configured email router for gmail (pop3) and it's displaying test succeded, but how do i test this one , because i have set queue's email id as my gmail id and if i give some other gmail id test connection fails.  What is Uid pwd we need to set at Email router configuration profile. I have selected  access credentials as other specified and password same as gmail. What email id i have to set for queue. I am working on my local virtual box(on premise). Any help would be appreciated.

  • HI Abhishek,

    Set selected queue(which is having same email address) in to field and then set email direction field to incoming(set true - have to place on form)

    Then save the email record. So that it will creates an received email to queue. also you can find the status of email as received.

    try to use the setting below:

    POP Settings
        pop server address: pop.gmail.com
        port: 995

    SMTP Settings
        smtp server address: smtp.gmail.com
        port: 587

    choose clear text, type your gmail id and password.

    My test access succeeds if i give queue email id as my gmail id , but i should have given my virtualbox domain  as email id. I need to know what user name , pwd we need to give for  Email router configuration profile, also   what email id i have to give for queue or user in crm.

    E-mail Server Type: POP 3
    Authentication Type: Clear Text
    Use SSL: Yes
    E-mail Server: pop.gmail.com
    Access Credentials: Other Specified
    User Name: (determined by email address)
    Password: <password of your Gmail account>

    Outgoing

    E-mail Server Type: SMTP
    Authentication Type: Clear Text
    Use SSL: Yes
    E-mail Server: smtp.gmail.com
    Access Credentials: Other Specified
    User Name: <your gmail id>@gmail.com
    Password: <password of your Gmail account>

    The E-mail Address on the Queue should be your Gmail address that was configured for the E-mail Router.

    I had set same thing earlier  what you have mentioned and my test access succeeds  also , but how do i receive email in crm if queue email address is same as email address i will be sending mail from. How can i test ?
