When I run a Sync cycle and try to minimize the results window, the results window doesn't minimize to the taskbar like most applications. Instead it minimizes to a small window that sits just above the taskbar. This isn't the correct behavior for a Windows application. It should fully minimize and disappear from the desktop.
I've found that I'm lucky to even see a results window appear at all.. Which is a step backward when comparing the great operation of the 2.0 beta release, compared to the 2.0 RTM release..
When I look at the instance in the task manager, it seems like SyncToy.exe is idle, and not actually doing anything useful, with 33MB of memory locked up, but no CPU usage..
I've also found problems when trying to sync remote machine shares, some of which are *nix machines, accessible through samba.. When these mapped drives are not accessible, my SyncToy session will lock up for minutes, and finally report a " Failed to execute folder pairs" error.. I didn't find this was a problem with the beta release..
