    Hi,
    I want to use Live Writer to post to a Movable Type blog. I got it set up, and it does indeed publish, but there are two problems

    1. I want it to post to my blog as a draft and that does not seem to be an option.
    2. It publishes everything in the Entry Body field. I want to be able to indicate that it split the entry between the entry body and the extended entry. In other words, I generally put the first paragraph in the body, and the remainder of the post in the extended entry.

    Well, question 1 is still a question.

    For question 2, there is an option under Format - "Split Post".

    Anyone know if the "Post draft to blog" or "post draft and edit online" is working for anyone?

    Does "Post draft to blog" not work for you? Do you get an error? Or does it publish to your homepage?
