  • Vinchick,

    Have you tried to activate your installation of XP Home?

    Run the activation wizard:  Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Activate Windows.

    If for some reason there is no menu entry for Activate Windows, you can run the Activation Wizard this way:  Start>Run, type oobe/msoobe /a and click OK or hit <Enter>.

    Please post back with results!
