So i have had windows 7 for about 3 years with no issues but now it says not genuine.
this started happening after i used hirens boot cd to try fixing my roommate's external hard drive with my acer aspire 5610 laptop. i ran the MGAdiag tool and this is the results

Unfortunately, the installed OEM SLP copy of Windows 7 Ultimate is counterfeit and non-genuine. You will need to purchase a genuine edition of Windows 7 and install it.

1) the installed Key does not appear on ANY legitimate COA sticker
2) The installed Key requires the machine to have shipped from the factory with Windows 7 installed
3) Your machine was manufactured 1 year BEFORE Windows 7 was released.
The installation is counterfeit. It may have been enabled by a hacker's Activation exploit, which was removed by an update or by an AV.

Yes, you will need to purchase a genuine Windows 7 DVD which includes a genuine Certificate of Authenticity containing a genuine product key.
