Inconsistent Network Health software icons RRS feed

  • Question

  • Vista 64 and XP clients show a red WHS icon in their tray, but, the WHS Console displays a green Network Healthy status.  This disconnect has gone on for a couple hours.

Server is WHS with Power Pack 2:
    Windows Home Server Console: 6.0.2030.2
Windows Home Server Backup & Restore: 6.0.2030.0
Windows Home Server Drive Extender: 6.0.2030.0
Windows Home Server Remote Access: 6.0.2030.0
Windows Home Server Storage Manager: 6.0.2030.0

The clients appear to be running  6.0.2030.2 versions of their software.

Does it say what the error is for (i.e. Antivirus out of date)?  Did you try rebooting your clients and your server?

  • Try rebooting everything.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
