Attachments in outgoing emails in Outlook

Suddenly, I am unable to attach a document to my outgoing emails. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Window 10. When I try to attach documents from Outlook, I am asked if I really want to "leave this page" or "stay on". Either way it doesn't work. The little dots keep swirling on the Outlook toolbar (I suppose trying to attach my selected doc) and/or I'm just flipped back to my Inbox. Please help! I need this stuff to go out.
