MS CRM 2011 installation unable to detect already installed .net framework

Question

Hi All,
I am trying to install MS CRM 2011 on a windows 2008 R2 server. Somehow the setup is unable to detect the .Net Framework (which is already installed on the server) and hence the setup does not move any further. Please see the image below for more information. Please can anyone help me on this?

Hi Jason,
Thanks for all the help. I had made a mistake the .net was not installed using Role manager which was causing the problem. After installing the .net using server manager. I was able to get this working. For more info to others how might make the same mistake please see the following link

What version is currently installed?
Is the server pending a reboot?
Have you tried to uninstall/re-install/repair the current .NET Framework install?

And out of curiosity - what happens if you just would hit "Install" on the Install Required Components screen?

Hi Jason,
The screenshot I have provided is after I clicked Install and it installed 2 of the 3 components but did not allow me to move any further as the "Next"button was disabled.
Thanks
