    I'd like to set up Mesh to automatically synchronize files when my computer is restarted and no user has logged in yet.  Since Mesh start synchronizing files until I've logged in, there are a few different options. 

    1 - Set up a scheduled task in Windows that runs the mesh client every 15 minutes or so under my username, so that it'll start in the background after a short time even if I'm not logged in.

    2 - Set up the mesh client to run automatically as a system service under my username.

    3 - Set up my computer to automatically log in at reboot.  (I'd like to avoid this if possible.)

    Has anyone tried any of these before?  I'm looking for some guidance as to which is best.

     This is a popular request but we are limited by the necessity to log into Passport in order to authenticate with the back end at this time.  We are looking into way that this scenario can be implemented, for obvious reasons.

    Tim, that's good to hear.  As a stopgap solution, though, I've set up MoeMonitor.exe to launch automatically on startup as a Vista Scheduled task.  The scheduled task launches MoeMonitor under my user account just fine, running under session 0.  However, it doesn't seem to start synchronizing folders with the mesh since the live desktop still says that it is "not synchronizing".  Is starting MoeMonitor all that is necessary to begin syncing?

    No, unfortunately it isn't.  You need to be authenticated to the back end through Passport as well.
