Windows 7 "Windows could not be validated as genuine"

Question
-
Tried to download Windows XP mode on my OEM copy of Windows 7 Professional (PURCHASED FROM NEWEGG, KNOWN LEGITIMATE), got this...
Windows could not be validated as genuine
The validation service couldn't determine whether the copy of Windows that is running on your computer is genuine. Please try to validate Windows again. If you keep getting validation errors, try to again later or contact support.
Here's my diagnostic report:

Don't think it matters but you are using an old MGA diagnostic. This one is current
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
I see no issues with your report however I see chrome is your default browser. I suggest you try again using Internet Explorer. Sometimes there are issues with chrome.

The usual reason for this problem is not using Internet Explorer for the download - and the OP has Chrome as the default browser :)

Use IE 32-bit in preference (although I was under the impression that the 64-bit would also work)
