White Screen Of Death when using CRM translations in Outlook RRS feed

  • Our CRM users that use localized versions of our CRM 2011 system (translations - language pack and re-imported custom field translations), cannot use CRM through Outlook. For every dropdown menu on the ribbon that you click, the screen just goes completely blank (see screenshot). As soon as I open the dropdown to select which activity to add to my lead, the screen goes completely white. This makes it impossible to work.

    Opening CRM through the browser works fine though.

    Server: CRM 2011 on-premise

    Client: Outlook 2011 & 2013

    Client version: Update Rollup 13 & 15 (and potentially others)

    Anybody experienced this before?

  • It seems to be related to Internet Explorer. It also doesn't work on the browser version actually from the office. But when I try it on my personal PC at home, I have no issue using the drop-down from the web version. We have internet facing CRM deployment.
