Would like support for syncing with removable drives. My netbook uses a SD card. Space is at a premium on the primary drive.

That's a good suggestion! Why don't you add it to the list of suggestions (instructions here)? The closest thing that I could find to an existing suggestion was https://connect.microsoft.com/LiveMesh/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=423642 but that focuses specifically on the Mobile client, so it looks like a good excuse to create a new suggestion!
