Error when trying to Upgrade Windows Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, So i have Windows vista 32-Bit service pack 2, and I am trying to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit. I downloaded Windows 7 from my school, burned it to a DVD and when i click on Setup (Windows Installer) i get this message:

    C:\Users\Marlone\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Burn\setup.exe

This version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check our computer's system information to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

What do i have to do to upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7? Any help will be greatly appreciate.
