Connecting to the internet at startup. Tried deleting Legitcheck RRS feed

    After I loaded WGA notifier My computer would dialup the internet at startup and keep my phone line busy.

    After deleting Legitcheckcontrol.dll as suggested in a reply to one with the same problem, I get a validation failure. This update has been a real headache. I don't have the option to reload the update.

    Go to www.microsoft.com/genuine  and revalidate. Reboot your computer after this is done. Let us know us if this fixes the issue. Sometimes revalidating and rebooting correctly syncs the Windows library files.
