Deleting one or more Category RRS feed

    I have Money Plus Deluxe and after using it for several years I have quite a few obsolete categories. The help section says these can be deleted, but following the instructions lead to creating categories with no obvious workable way to remove them. I did ask this question some time back, but the only related answer I received was from another user saying they had the same problem. Can anyone help please?

    Banking->AccountTools->Categories&Payees->Categories should get
    you to Categories.  Even better, you can click Shortcuts at the
    top, and configure in Categories (and other favorite places) for
    single-click access.

    Then Select a category that you want to be rid of and click Delete
    or Move at the bottom.  If you are using the category for existing
    transactions, Money will ask what category you want those
    transactions reassigned to.
