  • Hi,

    My computer recently started showing message "windows is not genuine" and the desktop is now black. Windows activation shows that windows is activated. However, the non-genuine notification is not showing anymore. I have attached the MGA output. Thanks for your help.

  • That's resolved simply by resetting your desktop background in Display Settings.

  • I clarified that in the new thread. Anyway, the non-genuine notification is not there anymore but the black screen is still there.

  • We can only see the problem if the report is run while the error is showing.  Sorry.  You may have had a temporary file contention or Windows' self healing capabilities may have taken care of it.  It is likely the former.  If it shows up again run the report while the error persists.

  • I think you may be right. It may have been a temporary error which windows resovled on its own. About the black screen...I simply changed the background image to something else. Thanks for your input.
