Cannot clear forums selection RRS feed

    A few days go I selected a group of Windows forums to browse - as often in the past. Unlike the past I am unable to get rid of that selection.

    If I clear it, go to Forums Home, etc I still see only that set of forums even though none are selected if I look at the view all forums list. Makes no difference if I close the browser and reopen, log in or out,come back the next day. The only way I can see another forum is to select if from the list (as with this one). But next time I use the forums I am back to the same Windows set (which are again shown as selected).

    Any suggestions welcome.


    PS Forgot to mention this problem is with Edge. If I use another browser (eg IE11) on same PC everything is normal.

    That shortcut was there and working correctly long ago so it seems that the 1803 update is causing Edge to modify shortcuts (in Favourites).

    I haven't had that happen, Windows 10 x64 patched to latest build and I'm using Edge browser shortcuts for these forums many time a day. I'd delete / recreate the shortcut for now. Might also ask over here to see if others reported similar issues.

    I use Edge browser most of the time and am also at 1803 with no issues. What's in the URL when the problem happens? Should be similar to below also with no forum tiles in left pane.

     also in the left pane try clicking the Clear link.

    Edge is also on Technet with the problem I described earlier (it opened with the set of Windows forums only, not this one. The URL in Edge is https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/home

    I see what you mean - that URL includes Windows. I opened it as usual using a shortcut in Favourites and just checked its URL - it includes windows!
