Off Topic: XP using the wrong internet connection

  Can anyone tell me how to get XP to use the right internet connection.  I have two internet connection types on my computer.  My primary connection is through a cablemodem...I also have an AOL account which also uses my broadband connection to connect.  When I open Internet Explorer my computer uses the cablemodem connection.  If I save a favorite site in my Favorites Menu and try to access it...my computer opens my AOL account and uses that connection.  How do I get my computer to use my cablemodem connection all the time?  Thanks,  Primordia
