  • The exam has only just been released. Typically there is a 2-3 month delay between the exam being released and the book getting on the shelves.

There are some free resources though, like this:

    and some special offers here:

    MCP, MCDST, MCTS x 5, MCITP x 2

  • I've emailed MsPRESS and O'Reilly seperately, and both said that there was no plan for a 70-682 book.

I've mapped the Objectives between the MSPRESS 680/685 Books:

    BOOK 70-685:

    • Solve Software installation escalations (CH9, Lesson 1)
    • Solve Software configuration escalations (CH9, Lesson 2)
    • Solve enterprise logon issues (CH4, Lesson 1)
    • Solve Enterprise network connectivity issues (CH2, Lesson 1)
    • Identify and/or resolve performance issues (CH8, Lessons 1 & 2)
    • Solve enterprise wireless connectivity issues (CH2, Lesson 3)
    • Solve Enterprise remote access issues (CH6, Lessons 1 &2)

    BOOK 70-680:

    • Deploy a system image (CH3, Lesson 2)
    • Configure a VHD (CH2, Lesson 2)
    • Configure application compatibility (CH5, Lesson 1)
    • Configure application restrictions (CH5, Lesson 2)
    • Configure IPv6 network settings (CH6, Lesson 2)
    • Configure remote management (CH7, Lesson 2)
    • Configure user account control (UAC) (CH9, Lesson 1)
    • Configure BranchCache (CH8, Lesson 3)
    • Configure Bitlocker and BitLocker To Go (CH 11, Lesson 1)
    • Configure DirectAccess (CH10, Lesson 1)

    Hope this helps.
