Adobe Acrobat Installation RRS feed

    I'm trying to install Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.  Adobe states I have Live Onecare active and that I should update my virus definition.  Any other solutions?

  • I have no idea why you would be having a problem with OneCare and an install of Adobe Acrobat Pro, but you may want to try disabling the OneCare firewall temporarily and seeing if this helps. Open OneCare, click on Change Settings, and then disable the firewall. Install Adobe Acrobat. Once that completes, enable the OneCare firewall again.

    If it doesn't work, go back to Adobe support as OneCare virus definitions have nothing to do with software installs.
