Performed V/Malware scan. Windows does not work. RRS feed

    I got my aunts computer, she had tons of malware and viruses and no AV or anything. I used malwarebytes did it scan, found and cleaned the malware, and the computer and windows ran fine. did an AV scan (AVAST), found more, then did a preboot scan, found more. After that , and booted fine but when i loaded, it slowed down to nothing. cant get on iexplorer and nav, from one folder to another it takes about 30 sec - to a min to load.

    Im thinking it might have deleted some windows files or something any ideas? would a system restore be helpful?
