windows home server storage manager error

  I just got around to uninstalling PP1 beta and downloading-installing the PP1 final version. I was successful in installing it but when I go to access the home server console at the actual server, I get an error "windows home server console cannot be started due to windows home server storage manager is not running" or words to the effect. Did I break the server or this error fixable?
  
  I would like answer before i do a complete wipe and start over.

  You can start by removing the add-ins and if that does not work, then do a server reinstall. This will leave your data intact but reinstall the server OS partition.
