MS Press practice test alternatives? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings.

The last several exams I've taken, I used the practice tests found within the MS Press books. I've also barely passed the exams, and think that at some point my luck will run out and I'll fail one.

Which other vendor are you folks going with for practice exams?

    Thanks!

  • Try to stick to the Microsoft certified practice test providers:

    • MeasureUp.com
    • Selftestsoftware.com

These are called out in a few places with one being http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification-exams.aspx#fbid=tu02NciEeYi.

Another option is to try to get in on the BETA exams.  You can get in for free and taking the BETA exam will give you a great idea of what you need to know and study.  It isn't very easy to get in on the BETA exams but with a bit of persistence, you can certainly get in on some of them.  You can create a profile in the Microsoft SME database at http://connect.microsoft.com/site862 to get notified about the BETA exams in advance (this will greatly increase your chances of getting into a BETA exam).
