    Hi,

    I've change my username but still I see the old posts of which I no longer want to know about.

    Is there an archive function for this forum or must I need to create a new Windows Live ID?

    Hi Scant,

    There's no archive function in this Forum. Are these threads that you're getting alerts from? Or just threads that you want to ignore? Note that if you created a new profile and live ID account, you'll loose your points.

    Hi Don,

    Thanks for replying and apologies for writing in this forum.

    Since this would appear to be rather a unique function, what I was asking to happen is when you change username, that it actually has meaning other than the less than superficial name change and would give you the choice to "archive" all previous posts so they appear on a different page in your my posts.

    I hope you share my understanding.

    In general you get that option .you are right.but well as am a beginner here am afraid that I may not help you.but am also trying to find a solution for that other that archive option
