I have a problem with Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'll make this is short as possible:

I had a power outage a few months ago and was sure that all was well when I re installed my games after they had a few hiccups. But GTA 4 was still having issues, so I decided to ask Rockstar forums for a possible fix. When I sent them the files that they requested of me that asked for my system information, they said that the files didn't provide the information that was necessary to successfully diagnose the issue.

The files needed to provide were called "msinfo", and "dxdiag". Neither one provided enough info, and they said that there is a problem with my system. Does anybody have a theory as to what this issue is? Do I need to reboot my operating system?

  • This is the wrong forum, as this is for software development questions.  I cannot provide a recommendation though to a better forum, as it would seem to me the best forum us the game developer (Rockstar?) forum.  If I were to guess though, it sounds like your graphics card drivers are not installed properly.

  • Hi Derrick,

As Mike said, this forum is for development questions. I think you can ask Rockstar forum about where to find these files.

If you think there are some problems with your OS, you can also try Microsoft Answers forum.

    Best regards,
