Client PC reboots or BSOD when backup begins RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an XP Pro machine that reboots when WHS begins a backup on it. Digging down it is an 0x00000019 error. I have not installed any new hardware or software (other than WHS backup). I have run 8 check disks on PC, no issues reported since first run. This install is about 2 weeks old. The backup on 5 other computers (XP Home and pro) work fine.

    Hi,

    1. Is driver verifier enabled?
    2. Do you have any more information regarding the BSOD? i.e. the symbol/driver listed on the screen during the BSOD?
    3. Is there a MEMORY.DMP file in C:\Windows?
    4. Have you run a memtest ?

    Thanks
