Unit Testing Synchronization Operations RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Is it possible to write unit tests against sync services? Are there any samples/documents which can be helpful in this regard? I am trying to start on writing unit tests for sync services.

    Thanks

  • Apurva,

There is nothing that we (SyncFx team) ships to make wiring unit tests easier.  That said, I asked around and there is a sku of Visual Studio that is used extensively within Microsoft to write unit tests.  See the link below for more info:

  • Yes.  We have written a significant number of unit tests against our features and you should be able to do the same with an application that sits on top of SyncFx.

  • Thanks Sean. I can write the unit tests manually however I just wanted to confirm if it is at all possible to unit test sync operations.
