Cannot launch Sharedview from Live Messenger

    Question

  • I couldn't seem to find a forum for Live Messenger or SharedView so I thought I'd post here and cross my fingers...

I recently discovered that I should be able to use the Activities menu within a Messenger chat window to invite that Messenger contact to join me in a SharedView session.  However, when I select the Activities menu option, the only sub-menu option I see is "Request Remote Assistance".  Any ideas on how I can get this SharedView option to appear?

    Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

    SharedView 8.0.5725.0

    Live Messenger 2009 (Build 14.0.8089.726)
