Bitlocker for some workstations not writing Recovery Key to AD Computer Account RRS feed

  • Hi, I am sorry, I did not find the proper Forum for this, so please forgive me putting it here.

    We have our laptops encrypted with Bitlocker, but are not using MBAM. For most workstations everything works fine, the Recovery Key is written into AD, but every once in a while we run into the issue that the Recovery Key in AD was not updated - or is not there at all. I did search for hints on the Internet, but wasn't successful finding something about why this could be happening - and without knowing that it is nearly impossible to try to prevent it from happening again.

    Is there anybody who could point me into the proper direction? It doesn't happen too often, but WHEN it happens, it's really bad and I would like to find out why it happens, but need help...
