My Office 2003 product key no longer works

Question
-
I purchased Office Professional 2003 five ears ago from a store and have a CD with the product key on the back cover. I recently changed computers and now the newest installation claims the key is not valid. I'm guessing that since I've gone through several other computers in the interim, that maybe over time I've exceeded the maximum number of installations? How can I get this to key to work again?Saturday, November 6, 2010 8:39 PM

Hello cunnuh,
Does the hologrammed installation disc have "For distribution with a new PC only. For product support, contact the manufacturer of the PC." engraved in the upper left quadrant of the disc?

Hi cunnuh,
Please remember that the product key should be able to be entered but not activated no matter how many times you install Office. Also, remember that Office should only, at any given point in time, be installed on the number of computers licensed as by the Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Edition End User License Agreement.
You should contact Microsoft Supplemental and Replacement Parts at 1-800-360-7561 or your system administrator. Make sure that your CD is undamaged and you inputted the product key correctly.
