    How do I change my Windows Live ID?

    You can't change a LiveID, though you can cancel one and create a new one - http://account.live.com

    Note that some subscriptions are not transferable, so your LiveID cannot be canceled until that susbcription or premium service is canceled or expired. OneCare is one such subscription. It cannot be transferred.

    Thank You that makes a lot of sense, and would mess up my subscriptions

    and who knows what else. You have saved me a lot of headaches and time.
