System Admin but no access to field with field security profile in sandbox RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a sandbox instance with a custom 'Password' field on the contact. This field has a field security profile and I can access this field on the production instance. However, I cannot see what text is in it in the sandbox. I am a system admin, and I am also a member of a field security profile for this field. Why would the sandbox instance be different? There is another system admin, and the field is the same for them - they cannot access it on the sandbox, but can access it on the production instance?
