how to run a script off the task scheduler as administrator? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

I have a script which will only run from an elevated command prompt. How do I launch this script from the task scheduler?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bryan

  • I tried some of the suggested posts and running it under NT AUTHORITY, but on my cluster box it reports there is no such user?

  • The user name would be NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM -- you should be able to enter just SYSTEM.

  • Specify admin account and select "run with highest privileges"
