  • I do have Gateway M-6750 laptop and windows xp installed on it.  i was struggling searching Sound and wireless driver.  i just know installed sound driver and its working perfect now.  to get sound driver you need to follow below steps

    Open below mentioned URL:

    http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/search.asp?param=sigmatel&st=kw

the above url will open gateway driver download site.  i think there are about 23 drivers are there.  select the one mentioned below and install

    D00758-001-001.exe - SigmaTel Audio Driver Version: 5.10.5185.0
    Supports: Windows XP
Note: This file contains the Windows XP audio driver for the computer models and components listed below.

once Extracted the drivers in c:\cab directory.  Open readme file and see the location of setup.exe

    i.e C:\Cabs\D00758-001-001\Setup.exe

execute setup.exe, Remove yellow marked audio device from device manager and scan for new hardware installation.

    you are done man...Smile

The wireless driver is available at
