  • Question

  • When I don't check off any of the boxes under Available to Run, does that mean it runs automatically? What is the difference between As on-demand process and not checking them off?

  • A workflow will run automatically based on whether any of the options under 'Options for Automatic Processes' are set. The two options you've highlighted control:

    • 'As an on-demand process'. This determines if the workflow is available in the Run Workflow dialog on a form or view for the entity
    • 'As a child process'. This determines if the workflow can be called from another workflow

  • Yes, that is correct.  If you don't select one of those options, it will run automatically based on the options to the right of the ones you listed.
